Falling Forward Nail Art Challenge Day 2: Beach/Tropical!

Hey everyone!

Today is day 2 of the Falling Forward Nail Art Challenge and the theme is Beach/Tropical.

In one of the past challenges I did, one of the themes was beach and I did a typical beach manicure with sand, palm trees, waves, etc. This time I wanted to do something a little bit different so I went with an abstract manicure with colors that remind me of the beach.

I started with a base of OPI's Don't Pretzel My Buttons. Once fully dry, I applied stripping tape to create the pattern then used Zoya's Breezi and Sinful Colors Super Nova to fill in the open areas. Finally, removed the stripping tape to reveal the pattern with crisp lines.

Like I said earlier, this is definitely not your typical beach nail art but I wanted to do something a bit different. I love these colors together.

Hope you all enjoy and don't forget to check out the amazing other bloggers taking part in the Falling Forward Nail Art Challenge!
